CKA JDT Meeting 26.6.03

Matters Arising

• Stephen is new Phoenix rep and will continue to distribute helpers schedule
• Reda attended Girls in Sport course – focus on recruitment and retention key issue interests of the child when communicating with parents.

 

Club School Link

• 1 day left, feedback coaches in 1^st week not as good as in previous years helpers were great at taking over.
• Liv to write guidelines for club – school link …. To liaise with Liz and Liz re expectations of school
• BKA slow at organising – suggestion to deal with Holland directly

 

National Youth Day & Follow up

• Liv is sorting all aspects and has people in control of various key areas.
• Mike passed name of policeman to Liv re traffic
• Sijbren to mail parents re helping at NYD
• Idea to link coaches of school teams into JDT communication
• Discussion of how to keep children playing after NYD Sunday 13^th Skills session Sijbren to organise, children to receive certificates, Stephen to request helpers from all clubs in next rota mail, Liv to email teachers and cc to Sijbren who can then liaise with them
• Discussion of whether to add teachers to JDT communication?

 

Imminent Fixture

• See above
• Milton Road and Newnham Croft are taking approx 50 u11s to training on Sun.

 

Future Development

• Skills Day 13.7.03
• Recruiting session Sunday 21^st September format to be decided later.
• Parents want to purchase post, Sijbren asked if CKA could buy 1 in reserve for parents to purchase and not have to wait for delivery. Liv to ask CKA
