5) Discipline (Ian) |
|
Ian read the responses from BKA Disciplinary committee to the two complaints made about behaviour towards referees – see attached.
Discussion about the implementation of a system whereby the referees award marks for the behavior of the teams, coaches, spectators for example out of 10 for each category. If each team attains say 60% of the maximum points for the season then they will be award an extra 2 points. If they receive less than 40% then they are deducted 2 points. This system would encourage good discipline by rewarding it and hopefully not place the referees in a difficult situation where one refs decision could influence the outcome of the leagues. Ian to come up with a detailed, specific proposal for the next meeting |

Status Rules Proposal |
Status Rules Criteria
The aim of status rules is to restrict players playing down into lower teams in order to influence match results and thus the outcome of the league divisions.
The criteria for any status rules are :-
Status Rules Proposal
Background
These proposed status rules are based on the former status rules that were replaced by the squad list rules, with come important modifications so that they meet the above criteria.
The former rules used matches played as the basis for mathematically calculating individual player status. 2nd and lower team selections were then restricted in their composition of players with particular status.

Team Composition Rules
Possible extension
With clubs having more teams than when the original status rules were written, it may be desirable to have a 3rd level of status and restrictions on these players. This could be done with the following additional rules :-
