TREASURER:

No report. Howard advised there have been no transactions since the last committee meeting.


FIXTURES:

Kevin about to send out the final draft of fixtures (now done) with some changes to referees.


RESULTS:

The new status list has been sorted out. Mark will check that the scorecard entry functionality still works.


Action – tie resolutions are needed from City, Lions and Phoenix.

SENIOR DEVELOPMENT (vacant):

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT:

Liv is working with CRC to get both halls booked for junior area training, although this is an ongoing process due to existing bookings at CRC. Junior inter-area competition is expected in January


REFEREEING:

Chris W will summarise his thoughts into an email to the CKA committee and asks clubs’ refereeing officers to support these initiatives. Clubs reported generally fewer referees than before lockdown.



Uni are trying to organise a rules course and theory test which Chris W will run; he would like to open this up to CKA clubs. Chris W asked to be informed of people wanting a practical assessment. Action – clubs to nominate potential referees for course / test / assessment

CLUBS

Action – Chris W will approach CKA referees to attend trial of EK RSC Practical Refereeing Course once a date is available

Aim to create a more collegiate atmosphere among CKA referees, notably higher standards of behaviour from current referees, when playing, towards a match referee. Linked to this, aim to create opportunities for Chris W and other experienced referees to attend CKA games to provide support and coaching.



The meeting shared an aspiration to have more representative numbers of female referees, and it was hoped that the above-mentioned behaviour issues and support would contribute positively to that.

Joanna Logan was co-opted to the committee as CPO.


2. LEAGUE STRUCTURE

17 teams entered, 1 less than last season. City, Phoenix and Vikings are entering Development Teams. It was agreed to have 2 divisions, Division 1 9 teams (same as last season) and Division 2 8 teams (1 less than last season). Teams in each Division will play each other twice : home and away.
Division 1: T3, C2, C3, P1, C4, L1, T4, V1, U1
Division 2 : V2, P2, T5, L2, U2 , C5 (Dev), P3 (Dev), V3 (Dev)
