Committee congratulated Tornadoes on winning the U14 NL and congratulated the 2 mixed Cambridgeshire teams for their performances in what was, for many, their first year of competition. |

1. RECORDING RESULTS |
|
Discussion in the group about the need to develop the current legacy system of recording results and, in turn, calculating player status. Suggestions put forward by Kevin W were:
1)
Someone applies a lot of polish to the current system
Acknowledgement that for the calculations of status to be done, results need to be downloadable from the system that holds them to avoid manual handling.
Discussion around changing the status methodology so that it is only based on the starting line-up, rather than considering total match time played per player. Observation that the impact of this can be tested by running “new” rules on old data to see if it makes a significant difference to the outcome.
