Tigers and City were endorsed by the CKA for National League/Promo Division


SECRETARY:

TREASURER:

Had outstanding money in from Wisbech and Tornadoes. Current balance is approximately £4050. Very little activity in the account.


FIXTURES:

Kevin McG has resigned from the Fixtures Officer post.


RESULTS:

SENIOR DEVELOPMENT:

No report.



There will be an EK Senior interarea competition. Vikings potentially has a team manager but wouldn’t want to push themselves ahead of anyone else.

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT:

No report.



From Philip: there is a Cambridgeshire trust looking to get korfball into their portfolio of schools. Simon McGregor will attend a session at their school in Comberton.



National Youth Day will be at Shelford Rugby Club on 6 July. It should be a good opportunity to get teams out from local schools and clubs.



U15 Academy events scheduled for the Hive at on 7 June and 5 July (tbc).



Interclub matches taking place at Hills Road at various age groups involving Tigers, City and Vikings.

Phoenix thanked the other CKA clubs for their condolences in relation to Simon Hall’s passing. They will be in touch with other clubs regarding fundraising in Simon’s memory in a few months’ time.


Indication that EK will be running more Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses; news about this is expected in the coming months.
