There
have been a number of issues with the scorecards this week regarding
substitutes resulting in a lot of wasted time. Can all team captains and all
referees please ensure the scorecards are filled in correctly. If there is a
substitute you must indicate who they came on for (ie Player # on the
scorecard) and when (eg 1st Half, Half Time, 2nd Half).
This system has been in place for 3 years now so there are no excuses!!
Also,
please make sure you do not change a fixture without first consulting the Fixtures
and Results Officers (Uni 2 v Lions 1 due to play on Tuesday
night but actually played on Wednesday). This resulted in the same referee
turning up twice - which is out of order.
Also, Uni missed a reffing commitment on Thursday night.
Come
on everyone, this shouldn’t happen – sort it out.
