National League: Cambridge (16) v Supernova (9)
National League match report
Cambridge v Supernova
11 December 2005
After losing to Supernova by just one goal in their away meeting a week previously, Cambridge were looking for a win. And revenge was sweet after their poor showing at Supernova.
In this home game, Cambridge started strongly, swiftly going into an 8-1 lead. A minor recovery by Supernova saw the first half end with Cambridge leading 10 to 5. However, Cambridge were not for defeat, and in the second half, they put a strong fight, finishing the game with a very respectable scoreline: 16-9.
Most of the team scored, with Nick Armitage and Francis van Horck bagging themselves four goals each.
